XSLT 2.0 proposes XHTML output method for this. XSLT 1.0 doesn't have
such method, you can use processor-specific output methods -- but as
method attribute on xsl:output is not AVT it is impossible to write this
in portable way in XSLT 1.0. AFAIK Saxon and XT have such custom output
methods.
