A couple weeks ago, there was a thread entitled "DOCBOOK-APPS: Re: DocBook-xsl-1.49 and XALAN" that started at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/docbook-apps/200203/msg00141.html about array out of bounds errors from Xalan.
On March 21, Norm ended this thread saying someone should file a bug report against xalan. I'm getting those problems every time I try to compile htmlhelp.xsl with either one of several versions of Xalan. Has anyone used htmlhelp.xsl successfully with Xalan? Has anyone filed a bug report? Does anyone know if there is a version of Xalan that works with htmlhelp? Does anyone have any more info to add to this thread that ended March 21st?
