I tried the trial version for a few days, and it seemed pretty good. It's been a while, and I don't remember many specifics, but I do remember it had a good table editor. It was a bit unique, in that you didn't edit the table in-place. Your editing pane split in two when you were editing a table, and the top pane had the table editor. It was unique, but not to the point of unusability. I'd say that it's well worth $99.
