DOCBOOK-APPS: database reference database

I have a bibliography database and a glossary database, they each work fine.

Can I reference the bibliography database from the glossary database and 
make the reference appear in my article instance where the glossary is being 
auto-generated?

Or do I need to put the item into the article?
