I'm seeing lots of people who think this is the best way to handle their
publishing requirements. They repeatedly say that they don't have the FO
expertise in-house and it's too hard to learn.

Sucking the XML back into one of the publishing packages is not always easy
and the hand tweaking defeats elimiinates substantial automation and
timesavings. DTP tools are familiar and give users a sense of control. Adobe
must love this!
