Could you please file a Feature Request in the DocBook SourceForge Tracker?
That is the only way such requests can be tracked to be implemented.

There is the HTML parameter function.parens to generate parentheses after
a function (see
http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/doc/html/function.parens.html).
It would be nice if methodname.parens is added to the DocBook XSL
stylesheets?
