PhD is relatively PHP.net specific at the moment, but we are working
on improving that.
The existing themes can handle "other docbook files", it "just" has
some annoying issues. The PhD manual itself is rendered with PhD
obviously, and the "dochowto" [2] too. So its not "hardcoded to the
php.net documentations" :)
That sounds, like a lot of progress, ill defo look into how well i can
convert our own manuals already.
Hopefully we'll get an "gsoc student" to work on improving PhD and
make it more useful for other projects[3].
