The templates in htmltbl.xsl are used to format tables marked up in HTML table syntax (<tr> and <td>). Tables marked up with CALS table syntax (<row> and <entry>) are formatted using templates in tables.xsl. However, many table features can be customized using templates designed for such purposes.
