The effect is then, that the navigiational ToC does not show up at all. Who would be so nice to fix this? Replacing it with ' doesn't really help either, as during the transformation towards HTML+JS "'" gets replaced by a single quote again. The background: I am currently converting "svnbook", which is quite a lengthy db4.4 document, into Slides, and its authors seem to love using single quotes within titles.
