Thanks Bob. I changed to Saxon 6.5 and now the process not failing anymore.

I'm still getting the following warning:

     [xslt] : Warning! Ambiguous rule match for /
     [xslt] Matches both "/" on line 102 of
file:/home/vogella/workspace/delete/de.vogella.docbook.first/docbook-xsl/epub/docbook.xsl
     [xslt] and "/" on line 403 of
file:/home/vogella/workspace/delete/de.vogella.docbook.first/docbook-xsl/xhtml-1_1/chunk-code.xsl

Also the result of my Ant script is not a valid epub book. For full example
is available here: http://www.vogella.de/articles/DocBook/article.html#epub

I think I try using the example ruby script to see if that works and return
to Saxon later.
