Actually, maybe cancel that. I just found out that:

Actual status of standard is ISO 690:2010.^[3] <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_690#cite_note-2> The material is copyrighted and not free for distribution.

It cost $160.00 just to download a standards document. Why does docbook use what amounts to a non-standard, or at least one that is prohibitively expensive?
