I've got that (though as a literal param rather than in ANT_OPTS), which is how I can say "It doesn't show any messages ". Including absence of any reference to the resolver.

When finding the resolver.jar fails when resolver.jar is referred to in xslt/@classpath, I usually just give up and put resolver.jar in Ant's own 'lib' directory.
