Hi,
The number and separator are generated by a template that starts with:
<xsl:template match="orderedlist/listitem" mode="item-number">
in common/common.xsl. The code in that template that sets the $type
variable sets the number format and the punctuation. You can customize
that template in your customization layer to replace "." with ")".
