[docbook-apps] Index of People (5.1)

Hi all,

Can anyone give a starter on how to create and "/Index of People/" and 
"/Index of Organizations/" in 5.1?

I know that I can wrap an  <indexterm type="people"> around the <person> 
tag in the source file but wondered if the Index could be created 
without the extra XML tagging.
