Hallo (Yes I am from Germany), I have in my book a lot of tables which difficult to change when additions appear. I was thinking, that one could use variables instead and let the details be determined by docbook. In the following example these three rows have an image, a German Name and its Indexterm, a Scientific name and its Index and the reference to the Red list. There a for moths some 150 such entries. In table below has two lines where the content of the rows mentioned are exemplified.
My question is , Whether and How can such variables be programmed? Where does one find an How-To?
