I created an XSLT customization layer on top of Norm's XSL stylesheets
that does this for <programlisting> and also for <screen> and
<synopsis>. You can see my (non-chunking) XSL stylesheet at:
http://www.e-smith.org/docs/e-smith.xsl
(the chunking one is 'e-smith-chunk.xsl'). The customization is towards
the bottom and there is a comment that notates that. You can read my
