DOCBOOK: Newbie: Most appropriate tag for...?

What is the most appropriate inline tag for entries in configuration
files?  For example, ``set bouncemail'' in a .fetchmailrc.  I've been
using <option> but I gather from the guide that it is targeted at
command line options instead.
