If I remember correctly, you just need to `throw it into the command line [immediately] before [the] XML file-to-be-transformed'.

Phill, I found the xml.dcl file -- thanks for the pointer. I just haven't seen exactly how this file is to be invoked in my command line. There isn't mention of it (that I can find) in the OpenJade documentation. Is there a flag that needs to be set, or should I just throw it into the command line before my XML file-to-be-transformed... ? Thanks, Erik
