That could be, but I hope someone on the list will have a suggestion
that will work better than what I have so far.
Semantically, the issue is similar to a function synopsis. Here you
have <varargs> to denote additional unnamed function parameters. The
bibliography markup lacks a similar element though. I haven't checked
yet, but I suppose the problem is more common with TEI. Maybe they
have a solution to learn from?
