Dear all, I've three (maybe related) questions:
1. What's the best way to associate a date with links? I want to record the date I visited the (external) link, preferably as an attribute. E.g. when transforming to HTML I would present a note to the user by means of the HTML title attribute that contains a sentence like "Link verified on <date>", iff the DocBook link contains the respective attribute. Was (mis)use of the "revision" attribute the solution to go for? The reason behind my wish is German law: I only take responsibility for the link target in its state it was in when I created the link, but this means that I somehow need to record the date, that might be older than the last modification of the whole document. 2. How to add a date to a reference to an online source in a bibliography? It seems to be good practice to render these references with a note like "Last visited on <date>"; some scientific societies even prescribe to include such information. The solution might be the same as the solution for 1. E.g. LaTeX babelbib adds the "urldate" key to BibTeX for exactly this purpose. 3. Are there locale aware transformations for dates like the LaTeX package "isodate", possibly even working for dates in attributes, so this would also apply for 1. and 2.?
