You can put a textobject element after title and before tgroup. That
also takes block elements like para, but could perhaps meet your
needs. I'm not sure how the textobject element formats, though, so
that might need some customization.
Ok, I'll think about using textobject instead. I overlooked it.
Now that I see the description of textobject
(http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/textobject.html), it looks like it
was originally intended to be used only with mediaobject:
A textobject is a wrapper containing a textual description
of a media object and its associated meta-information. A
textobject is only allowed in mediaobject as a fallback...
But (now?) it's also used with CALS tables, informaltable,
programlisting, and several other elements. Perhaps the Description
should be updated?
