Hi,
today I evaluate the possibilities to convert DocBook (5) to Docx,
or ODT as substitute.
I tried to use ant4docbook with a not satisfying result.
Maybe somebody has a recommendation for such converting issues.
One thing that comes to mind is the aptly named tool docbook2odf:

I've evaluated docbook2odf a couple of years ago. IIRC the tool worked
fairly well with standard stuff, but most of the icing (like
bibliographies) was not implemented back then. Development seems to
have ceased, but it is open source after all and might be a starting
point for further development.
