I've either became color-blind or I've a problem with my video card. But the bg of your snapshot is completely white.

well, I don't have anything else to test with. I've tried galleon, but it uses the same gecko engine. Anybody with mozilla 0.9.6/7 on linux to confirm that my eyes don't lie to me?
In any case if it's a problem of the rendering engine, chances are that other browsers will have the same problem, how about using the color I committed this morning? #ddffff
