Let's not duplicate what CPAN does. It would be ironic to host and display
the Apache modules available on CPAN locally instead of "reusing" the CPAN
site (which is dedicated to code reuse).

Even trying to maintain a list of Apache::* modules on the site would be a
pain -- someone releases a new module and then it's not listed with all the
other modules on the modperl site.

I link to search.cpan.org would be good. Or perhaps

   http://search.cpan.org/search?mode=module&query=apache

but that's a lot of stuff to wade through.

I suppose we could hack up the search script so that you can type in module
names at the modperl site (skipping the step of bringing up the
search.cpan.org site. But a link to CPAN seems like the best way to go,
since it is the source.
