Ok, stupid me: I removed the second part from the test Pod, and now it worked. So everything's ok with Pod::POM (well, not everything, =begin html doesn't work, but as you said, we had a problem with =for).
Hmm, let's put the second sub-test aside. You reported earlier problems with '=for html <...' did they gone now?
it could be that the =begin/=end syntax is simply not implemented. I'll look into it, but we don't use it now anyway.
