Please notice that the old site had a few docs regarding conferences, which I didn't pick it up for now. I wasn't sure where to put it and how to handle them. Since the documents can be quite big and include many pages.

It'd be really cool to have the conference *handouts* online. Though I think the requirement should be that we have a single document (html/pod) and not 200 separate docs. If this requirement is not satisfied we should link to the doc on the author's site. Though the later is bad because sites tend to move and disappear a lot :( May be including a tar with everything?

I'm not sure if there is any added value in listing the conferences mod_perl was appearing at, since they are all in the past. Though preserving the talks would be really great! Especially for those who couldn't attend the conference. That's assuming that we have a permission from the author and the conference organizer (which is a must!) before we do that.

Yep, I agree about this. It would be great to have slides + handouts online. The slides could fit on one page (with <hr>s in between) and the handouts too. I already have quite a list of talks on the "Articles" page, so we can start from that.
