That request has now been made again much more formally by the asf
board to the jakarta and xml pmc's, and that has generated some
activity--hopefully within the next couple of weeks we should see
their disk space go down as they prune the incredible amount of

up so that they are picked up by the worldwilde apache.org mirrors
since there stuff is eating so much bandwidth currently.
