Hi Erast, I'm cross-posting your message to the docs-discuss list in hopes that you will talk with us about your requirements on this list. We are working hard on preparing the man pages for open source and need input to understand 1) which man pages you'd like to have first, 2) the format you want and packaging 3) how it would improve your distro, and 4) any other information you can provide about why this contribution of source is important to you.
I just checked out the Nexenta LiveCD for first time yesterday, and it is very cool! I love the look and feel and I really think that it provides plenty of software and utilities to get a newbie _very_ interested. Please, if you would, provide us with some answers to the above questions or describe how not having the man pages CDDL-ed impacts your project, so we can influence the process to speed delivery.
