It's very convenient that there's already an external MediaWiki instance.

MediaWiki is not perfect [from a backend perspective] for managing multilingual 
glossaries/content - 
but it is a great tool for communities.

btw - there's a very interesting next generation MediaWiki prototype at 
http://wiktionaryz.org

It's still at least a few months away from prime-time, but it is will address 
some of the current 
shortcomings in MediaWiki.
