Have you tried the Device Driver Utility? Applications > System Tools > Device Driver Utility
According to the Solaris for x86 Device Support list ( http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/devicelist/ ) the si3124 driver supports the Silicon Image, Inc. SiI 3132 Serial ATA Raid II Controller device on OpenSolaris 2009.06. The si3124(7D) man page say: "The si3124 driver is a SATA framework-compliant HBA driver that supports the Silicon Image 3124 SATA controllers. Note that while the si3124 controller supports standard SATA features including SATA-II disks, NCQ, hotplug, port multiplier and ATAPI disks, the si3124 driver currently does not support NCQ, port multiplier or ATAPI features." Possibly you could make the driver for the SiI 3132 work for the Sil 3114? See "Assigning a New Device to an Existing Driver" ( http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/features/techtips/assign_device_to_driver.jsp ). -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
