As facilitator of the documentation community, I've been asked to submit a
short summary to the OGB for the CommunityOne Town Hall meeting. I believe the
goal is to display the activities of various projects/communities so folks can
get a sense of the broad range of things going on with OpenSolaris. Each
project/community is to submit one slide with bullet highlights.
I've put together the following strawman, but would appreciate any inputs from
folks on what to highlight/emphasize.
* Community membership metrics
- number of members
- number of new members in last year
* Doc download metrics
- average monthly downloads of
+ man page consolidation
+ docs consolidation
+ PDF tarball
* Activities
- open docs integration meeting
- community contributions
+ Rainer / PDF generation
+ new content - James Cornell's articles
- community driven editorial cheat sheet
- XML tool chain updates/fixes
Please give me inputs in the next couple days so I can get this finalized.
