I've been promoting the idea of writing more books about Solaris for the retail market, and I'd like to put the idea out here. Right now I'm looking for books about Solaris 10. I'd like to see books that cover important features of Solaris 10 for system administrators who've had little or no exposure to Solaris. Topics like ZFS, virtualization, predictive self-healing. There is currently a book on security in the works, and I'd like to get several more books to make a series.
If anyone has ideas about this and is interested in writing, please let me know. Of course there will be royalty payments. Jim This message posted from opensolaris.org
