A bit more info: Near as I can tell, these problem entities (e.g. “) were added to the source between the 20070802 and 20080215 releases of the docs.
So, I suspect that either they should not be there (and they made it through accidentally), or there's a new DTD file that defines these entities that hasn't been published yet (or the new DTD file references a DocBook .ent file that defines them, etc...). This message posted from opensolaris.org
