I have two suggestions for additional material, so far: History: There would be a special need to define terms, in this type of document. At least, the way I read the section, this type of document may cover new concepts, paradigms, etc.
Overview: Particularly in the scope of OpenSolaris (but also in Sun's media releases of Solaris), the author should be expected to explicitly document when feature X was made available. When was feature Y added? Command switch Z? ZFS is an example of this--older Open builds don't have it, the "official media" still doesn't. The coding of ls in regards to extended ACL's is still being hammered out. Rainer This message posted from opensolaris.org
