Refering back to an earlier thread discussing building a tool chain for creating SolBook/OpenSolaris documentation, reading the section on images brings to light the need to recommend a good illustration/image manipulation tool or three. This would be particularly needed for the discussion on layers (Composites, p44).
Then again, this may only be really relevant for documentation that the author intends to support over time, or when the author shares the documentation work out with others. (??) Rainer PS Example 1-12 on pp44-45 seems to have done it's own thing. PPS I hope I'm not being too prolific. As I say, work is exceptionally quiet right now. I suspect that, when the tide turns, it will make the Bay of Fundy look like a broken egg-beater. :-/ This message posted from opensolaris.org
