As a manager, I spend a lot of time in the background while my employees do the heavy lifting. Every once in a while, I get to "come up for air," and take a closer look at a project. Yesterday was one of those days. We gave a presentation to a VP (always fun!) that included Open Solaris documentation.
What we talked about was impressive. This is a community that can be proud of what it has accomplished. A year ago, we had little more than a roadmap, but now we have an engaged, energetic community that continues to grow. So today, take a few minutes and page through the Open Solaris docs site with a new perspective. Think about how far you've come.
