You can forward all or part as you wish. Here is my experience with the docs in these alternate locations. I recently wrote a Best Practices document, and had to add a reference to Netback system administration documentation. It ended up being the following reference: Symantec/VERITAS NetBackup Documentation: http://www.sun.com/products-n-solutions/hardware/docs/Software/Storage_Software/VERITAS_NetBackup/index.html If Anne Wong of Storage Systems Engineering hadn't seen a draft of the document posted to an interest alias and told me about this location, I would not have found it on my own. However, when I searched for NetBackup on docs.sun.com, these documents (and paths) did turn up. - Penny Young Joo Song wrote On 10/11/05 09:33,: > I initially forwarded the message to Sue, but perhaps more eyes are on > this list. > > Young > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: [osol-discuss] Contact @ Sun needed regarding sun.com > websites > Date: Tue, 11 Oct 2005 09:19:12 -0700 > From: Young Joo Song <Young.J.Song at Sun.COM> > Reply-To: Young.J.Song at Sun.COM > To: Bill Bradford <mrbill at gmail.com> > CC: Open Solaris <opensolaris-discuss at opensolaris.org> > > Hi Bill, > > You have a higher chance of getting read by the right people in the > documentation discuss alias. :-) I've forwarded it to Sue Weber in that > team. > > Young > > > Bill Bradford wrote: > > >>Can someone give me a contact @ Sun that I can ping regarding the >>online documentation collections? >> >>I just went to http://docs.sun.com (as always) to look up the manuals >>for the X2100, as I'm debating getting one for sunhelp.org.
