Hi David and Ross - I had the same thought.....(Ross - I'm one of the community leaders for the doc web site.)
I'm setting up a documentation repository on the documentation site. This will provide one place to go to track down that piece of documentation that you know you saw but just can't quite remember where you saw it, and hopefully also become the primary location for original pieces of community documentation. If anyone wants to send me pointers to docs on the site, or to other useful documentation, or to submit something, please contact me. I'll let everyone know when I have it posted.
