The website team is asking community members to check your membership in
various OpenSolaris collectives. Please use the following instructions. -alan

=============================================================
It has become apparent that some of the collective relationship data in
http://auth.opensolaris.org is incorrect. This affects not just the Electorate
data which will be used for the forthcoming election, but also Community
Groups, and possibly Projects and User Groups as well. We are therefore asking
people to check their collective relationships in Auth and notify of us of any
discrepancies. These errors may occur in historic data as well as your current
relationships, so it is important you check both.

If you find anything you think is incorrect, please send email to ogb-discuss
at opensolaris.org with the subject "ELECTORATE ASSIGNMENTS" describing the
incorrect data and including details of what you think the correct version
should be.

To make this process easier, we've brought forward the deployment of the new
version of http://auth.opensolaris.org from Monday to today, as it includes
extra functionality that makes it easier to view your relationship history.

To check your relationship history, follow these steps:

1. Log in to http://auth.opensolaris.org

2. Click on the "Edit your account" link

3. Click on "Collectives" in the left-hand menu.

4. Click on the "Show your relationship history" link at the bottom of the
first table on the page.

This will pop up a window showing the whole of your relationship history,
please check it is correct.

Note that if a record has no end date it merely means that the relationship is
of indefinite length. Core Contributor relationships are usually for a 2 year
term, so they should have an end date.

Thanks,
