Hi I would like to ask some questions. Please help me to choose a correct path for my project. The goal is to use cocoon as a previewer to preview XML ( Docbook XML) format of the scientific documents such as thesis, then submit the modified & ready to transfer XML file into Dspace & create a hook to cocoon to generate HTML / PDF format of the selected XML thesis in Dspace.
I already install Dspace on tomcat-jakarta 4.0.6. my first question is should I install cocoon ( lets say 2.1.5) in simple form or on tomcat? which one is better for me? The second I should use DTD & XSLT stylesheet that has been developed in my university ( ecole polytechnique de Montreal) , I follow the example to use local catalog parameter. Is that the only modification or should I change serializer too? for using Docbook XML file in cocoon is there a good example that contains all kind of necessary modification ? I mean for SVG, MathML, images,... I appreciate your help. beat regards Niaz
