Personally - I'd think that anything out of date that is *not* superceded - rather than being deleted -
should have a disclaimer that it is out of date and/or be moved into some kind of 'old' or 'legacy' section - In some cases - and of course you're more familiar with these than I - I could see that the out of date stuff might still be a better starting point than nothing.. that of course depends on the doc, etc. And some things - maybe should be updated? or maybe a 'needs to be updated' section, so they can be updated? </2c>
