I used the W3C validator to check that (for my version), and
there were no problems.
(Opera 6: Cntrl-Alt-V uploads and validates the document - very
comfortable to use if you are online.)
All that was missing to make the validator happy was an inline
character encoding definition, like
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" ?>
in the top line.
