All,

This weekend the main web server and the svn master server (both based
in the US) are scheduled for an OS upgrade.

Traffic for both www and svn is in the process of being re-routed to the
EU based servers as I type. There will be some downtime for services
over the weekend. For detailed timings please see:
http://monitoring.apache.org/status/
and/or
https://twitter.com/infrabot

where expected downtime will be announced before it occurs and progress
updates will also be posted.

The expected downtime / changes in service are as follows:

- Over the entire weekend users in the svn users may notice errors if
trying multiple commits to the same file in rapid succession. Waiting a
short time between commits will work-around the error. (The issue is the
additional delay caused by all commits being routed through the EU svn
server).

- svn will be read-only during the OS upgrade of the svn master server

- moin based wikis will not be available during the OS upgrade of the US
www server
