It's certainly not perfect, but it basically works now (at least for trunk and 2.4.x; 2.2.x is still todo). I've uploaded a 2.4.8.dev version of the pdf (and other offline formats) to the release/docs directory yesterday, so most of the mirrors should have picked it up by now. I don't see those release commits on the commit list, though. Anything broken there?
