I have a vague memory that several years ago (perhaps as much as 10?) we had a discussion that led to standardizing on US spelling of honor, color, etc, rather than honour, colour. I can't find reference to this in the archives, so it could be that I just made the change unilaterally and hoped nobody noticed.

Another ASF project is having this debate, and it has become somewhat heated, and I was wondering if anyone remembered when this happened here (if it did indeed happen and I'm not imagining it), what arguments were put forward.

Thanks.
