In docs/filter.html we say:
AddOutputFilterByType is still supported, but deprecated. U
Yet elsewhere in the docs we encourage its use.
I know that this has been brought up before, but can someone give a
definitive answer here? If it's deprecated, what are we supposed to use
instead?
The doc in question says:
Use dynamic configuration instead.
Which is ... very unhelpful.
If it is indeed deprecated, someone please update the mod_deflate docs
to use the new correct syntax. If it's not, let's remove the statement
that it is.
Anybody got any insight into this?
