Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|FIXED |--- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED --- Comment #4 from Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> --- Apologies again: 1. I was confused by the new text and our definition of “URL-path” (and more) yesterday. The new version is misleading, implying that the query string is included in the URL-path. 2. The "pathinfo" spelling does not seem to be used (outside Wikipedia). After more thought, I agree with keeping the sentence. Replacing the paragraph with the following would fix: <p><module>mod_rewrite</module> can operate on the full URL-path, or any portion of it, including any PATH_INFO (the portion corresponding to <a href="../env.html#cgi">the PATH_INFO CGI environment variable</a>). It can also alter the query string (<code>%{QUERY_STRING}</code>).</p> This removes the last sentence, which is redundant with the previous paragraph (except for the mention of cookies). It also reduces the risk of confusion that PATH_INFO and QUERY_STRING would both be always available to mod_rewrite. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
