--- Comment #14 from Philippe Cloutier <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Daniel Gruno from comment #13) > I have committed the changes to the trunk now, and I'll consider this ticket > closed (for the time being at least), since the original bug has been > confirmed and resolved. Thank very much Daniel > As for Andre's suggestions, I think this would best be solved in a new > ticket or perhaps on the docs@ list, when we've all had some time to think > it through. I followed up on a couple of the issues André mentioned in ticket #70041. > It is a complicated matter, and simply expanding the flow chart > to include all flags and contexts would serve no other purpose than > confusion, in my opinion. It's a chart that is meant to illustrate and > simplify an example of a rewrite flow, not necessarily explain how the > entire Apache server works ;) A simple chart has value, but while explaining the entire httpd is unrealistic, having an accurate or near-accurate chart (or 2, or André suggested) would really help, even for us developers to get our heads around the situation. Currently, describing all that through text alone is difficult. Adding accurate charts would not prevent featuring a simplified version (perhaps reserved to Apache mod_rewrite Introduction). 🅭🄍: https://www.philippecloutier.com/Common+infrastructure+licensing#its -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
