Please see the screenshot. I struggle to believe that a feature intended to
save scrolling would intentionally heighten the viewport by 18 pixels per
level-2 section, but even if that is the case, it just *looks* broken (no
bottom margin and left-aligned, yet with extra padding).

Removing these would make better use of space, but failing that, just using the
usual layout (> 768 pixels) would use an acceptable amount of space.
