If i do :

$user = Doctrine::getTable('User')->find(1);
$user->firstname = 'toto';
$user2 = Doctrine::getTable('User')->find(1);
$user->save();
}}}
the firstname is not saved !
(of course with $user2 = Doctrine::getTable('User')->find(2); there is no
problem ...)
I don't use any cacheDriver
